The article is about treating people with bi-polar mental disorder, I agree with how they treat people with the disease, as it lists the different aspects of bi-polar mental disorder and also says what the side-effects are and whether it is a good or bad side-effect. It also lists the causes of bi-polar mental disorder such as certain people are genetically predisposed to bipolar disorder. Yet not everyone with an inherited vulnerability develops the illness, indicating that genes are not the only cause. Some brain imaging studies show physical changes in the brains of people with bipolar disorder. Other research points to neurotransmitter imbalances, abnormal thyroid function, circadian rhythm disturbances, and high levels of the stress hormone cortisol and sleep deprivation, loss of enjoyment from activities used to be enjoyed, e.g. Sports, Video Gaming etc. It also states a myth and fact section, disproving all the commonly thought myths.
